The Zimmer Biomet Upper Extremities Team is proud to support the Shoulder and Elbow IEP Fellows and Young Surgeons’ Course cadaveric session. The faculty assisting in the lab will be Dr. Hafiz Kassam (Director of Shoulder Reconstruction at Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Newport Beach) along with Dr. Anand Murthi (Chief, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore). The Zimmer Biomet lab will feature plenty of hands-on opportunities with three total lab stations. Two stations will focus on Upper Extremity Reconstruction including Stemmed and Stemless TSA along with RSA. A third lab station will focus on Sports Medicine with exposure to a wide variety of Arthroscopic Soft Tissue Repair techniques.
